About this wine
W & J Graham's makes this Vintage Port in the Douro Valley, Portugal, from grapes grown on the estate's steep schist vineyards. Vintage Port is only declared in strong years and bottled young, then left to age in bottle rather than in wood.
Expect a dense, richly fruited style with dark berry, chocolate and firm tannic grip, built for long development. Serve slightly below room temperature after dinner, with blue cheese, dark chocolate or simply on its own.
