Tasting notes

Deep garnet in the glass with inviting aromas of ripe black cherry, wild garrigue, and sun-baked leather, underscored by hints of dried lavender and warm spice. On the palate, this Grenache-driven wine delivers luscious red and dark fruit flavors with a silky, full-bodied texture and well-integrated tannins. Notes of licorice, cracked pepper, and earthy complexity lead into a long, warming finish with excellent persistence.

About this wine

Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils is a family domaine in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, producing this old-vine Grenache-led red under rabbinical supervision, a serious kosher option from one of the Southern Rhône's most respected appellations.

At 14.5% abv, expect the warmth and generosity typical of the appellation: ripe red and dark fruit, garrigue, a supple texture and firm southern weight. It's built for the table, grilled lamb chops, slow-roasted pork, or roast poultry all work well.
