Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils is a family wine estate based in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, one of the Southern Rhône's most historically significant appellations. Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a large appellation on the left bank of the Rhône, characterised by its famous galets roulés — large, rounded stones that retain heat and reflect sunlight onto the vines. The appellation permits a broad range of grape varieties, though red wines are typically dominated by Grenache, often blended with Syrah, Mourvèdre, and other permitted varieties. Wines from the appellation tend toward ripe, full-bodied profiles with flavours of dark fruit, garrigue, and spice, with the capacity to age considerably.
