The 2021 1961 Block Riesling leads with nettle-like acidity in the mouth, while the fruit holds a more placid court in the mid-palate. This is plump and pillowy, yet it has mineral definition and intensity of flavor. It's all on the back palate and lingering. Very good indeed. This has a conservative drinking window.
