The ripe 2014 Urban Ribera was produced with Tempranillo grapes from their estate vineyards. It fermented in stainless steel vats and matured in oak barrels, mostly French with 10% from Central Europe, for some three months. The nose is very fruit-driven, clean, cropped from a healthy vintage, with a nice combination of cherries and plums. It's expressive and balanced, quite aromatic and with a sleek palate. Very drinkable.
