Inspired by the memory of entering a pastry shop for the first time, this whisky captures that delicious feeling of being overwhelmed by tempting treats. Glenmorangie creates Nectar d'Or by aging their fruity spirit in American oak bourbon casks and Sauternes sweet white wine casks. The result is a smooth experience of white chocolate, lemon cream, crème caramel, and almond croissants, balanced by gentle spices. Gold in color, it presents aromas of lemon tart and vanilla, with notes of lime, orange zest, sultanas, dates, ginger, and coconut. Flavours of gingerbread, nutmeg, and toasted almonds intertwine, leading to a sweet, mellow finish with lasting hints of lemon zest and vanilla cream.

Ingredients
- 60 ml Glenmorangie - The Nectar d'Or - Sauternes Cask Finished
- 30 ml Honey syrup (1:1 ratio of honey to water)
- 15 ml Fresh lemon juice
- 2 dashes Angostura bitters
Method
- Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Add the Glenmorangie - The Nectar d'Or - Sauternes Cask Finished, honey syrup, fresh lemon juice, and Angostura bitters.
- Shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe glass.
Serve
Coupe glass, garnished with a lemon twist, served with a golden sugar rim (optional).
