Tasting notes

Rosé wines are often believed to be made only from Pinot Noir, but the best, including this, have Chardonnay added for structure. In creating of this Rosé the winery worked to create a wine of great balance while emphasizing fruity and floral characteristics to a greater extent than in our Brut or Le Rêve. On the nose, the welcomes the senses with aromas of watermelon, red roses, apricot, and toasted macadamia nuts. Flavors of peaches, mandarin, and pink grapefruit evoke the bliss of a perfect summer day through the long, silky finish.

About this sparkling wine

Domaine Carneros crafts this elegant rosé sparkling wine from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, hallmarks of California's finest méthode champenoise producers. Based in Napa Valley, the estate draws from the region's cool-climate vineyards, which impart bright citrus and stone fruit character alongside delicate floral and toasted notes. The result is a structured, medium-bodied sparkling wine with pristine balance and refinement.

Perfect for discerning palates, this rosé pairs beautifully with shellfish, crab, and lobster, ideal for coastal entertaining. Its versatility extends to fresh herb-driven dishes, green vegetables, and goat cheese preparations, making it equally at home at an elegant aperitif or intimate dinner. At 12.5% ABV, it offers approachable sophistication without heaviness, embodying the California sparkling wine tradition at its finest.
