Tasting notes

The 2024 Château Simone Rosé presents a deep, brick-pink hue with amber highlights, signaling its full-bodied character. The nose is complex, offering aromas of ripe red fruits like cherry and strawberry, intertwined with sweet spices such as vanilla and cinnamon, and a subtle floral note evolving towards rose. On the palate, it is structured by a mineral framework and a slight tannic grip, delivering a rich and savory profile. This gastronomic rosé is ideal for pairing with Mediterranean cuisine and has excellent aging potential, expected to evolve beautifully over the next decade

About this wine

Château Simone stands as one of Provence's most distinguished estates, renowned for producing elegant rosés that transcend the region's typically lighter styles. Located in the Palette appellation, a small, prestigious terroir near Aix-en-Provence, the château crafts wines of remarkable depth and complexity, drawing from a carefully selected blend of Grenache, Cinsault, and Mourvèdre.

This rosé embodies the best of Palette's character: mineral-driven and full-bodied for the category, with red fruit and floral notes that speak to its carefully balanced blend. The 14% ABV provides weight and structure without heaviness, making it equally suited to aperitifs as it is to the table. This is not a casual summer wine, but a serious expression of Provençal winemaking tradition.

Serve with Mediterranean cuisine, seafood, and lighter meat dishes. Its minerality and body make it a natural companion to herb-crusted fish, bouillabaisse, and aged goat cheese, perfect for entertaining at villa or château.
