About this wine

Le Clémentin du Château Pape Clément is the second wine of the historic Pessac-Léognan estate, produced from younger vines on the same classified property. Pessac-Léognan sits on Bordeaux's Left Bank, where the gravelly soils of the Graves give Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blends their distinctive mineral edge.

Expect a Graves-typical profile: blackcurrant and plum fruit, cedar and tobacco notes, a firm but approachable tannic structure, and that characteristic graphite minerality. A natural match for lamb, duck, or aged hard cheeses at the captain's table.
