Tasting notes

The wine has a bright ruby-red colour with medium depth and a garnet rim. Intense and complex on the nose, where you can find primary fruit aromas of raspberry and blackberry, secondary aromas of vanilla and liquorice and a subtle hint of tertiary aromas such as chocolate and ripe fruit. Very well-balanced on the palate, with good acidity and soft tannins. The finish is long and fruity.

About this wine

Bodegas Muga - Reserva - Rioja DOCa

Bodegas Muga is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Rioja, Spain. The winery has been producing high-quality wines since 1932 and is known for its traditional winemaking techniques and commitment to excellence.

The Bodegas Muga Reserva is a classic Rioja wine that is made from a blend of Tempranillo, Garnacha, Mazuelo, and Graciano grapes. The wine is aged for 24 months in oak barrels and then further aged in the bottle for at least 12 months before release.

The wine has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of ripe red fruit, vanilla, and spice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a smooth and velvety texture. The flavors of red fruit and spice are balanced by a subtle oakiness and a long, elegant finish.

This wine is perfect for pairing with grilled meats, stews, and hearty dishes. It is also a great wine to enjoy on its own, as it is complex and flavorful enough to be savored on its own.

Overall, the Bodegas Muga Reserva is a classic Rioja wine that is sure to impress. Its rich history and traditional winemaking techniques make it a must-try for any wine lover.
