Tasting notes
Citrus peel and white blossom on the nose, with a waxy, stony note from some bottle age. The palate is dry and fairly full for Vinho Verde, with lime and green apple. Bright acidity carries a clean, mineral finish.

Key characteristics
About this wine
Anselmo Mendes is one of the leading names in Vinho Verde, and A Torre showcases Alvarinho grown in the Minho region of northern Portugal. This is a serious, single-variety expression of the grape, made with the precision the region is known for.
Expect citrus, orchard fruit and a saline, mineral edge with fresh acidity throughout. Serve well chilled at 10-12°C alongside shellfish, white fish, salads or light tapas, where its brightness and clean finish cut through richer sauces and oils.
