The Owl's Counsel

Ingrediënten

• 60 ml Kentucky Owl The Wiseman Straight Rye Whiskey
• 20 ml Amaro Meletti
• 15 ml fresh lemon juice
• 10 ml honey syrup
• 2 dashes Angostura bitters
• 1 dash orange bitters

Bereiding

1. Fill a mixing glass with ice
2. Add Kentucky Owl rye whiskey, Amaro Meletti, fresh lemon juice, and honey syrup
3. Add Angostura bitters and orange bitters
4. Stir continuously for 12-15 seconds until well-chilled
5. Strain into the prepared glass using a fine strainer
6. Express the orange peel oils over the drink surface

Serve in a crystal coupe glass. Garnish with a single large-format orange twist (approximately 5cm long, cut from the peel only) placed on the rim of the glass. Optionally, add one large hand-carved ice cube to the glass before straining. Present with the orange twist draped elegantly over the glass edge.
