Chateau Meyney

Château Meyney is a producer located in Saint-Estèphe, the northernmost appellation of the Haut-Médoc in Bordeaux. The estate produces red wines from its vineyard holdings in this classic left-bank region.

Saint-Estèphe is known for structured, age-worthy wines built on Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, typically displaying darker fruit characteristics and firmer tannins than their counterparts in neighboring appellations. The gravelly plateau soils and cooler microclimate of Saint-Estèphe tend to produce wines with good weight and complexity rather than opulence.

Château Meyney's wines are made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, a composition typical of the appellation. The current inventory includes the 2017 vintage, a wine from a generally warm, well-regarded growing season in Bordeaux.
