Acústic Celler

Acústic Celler is a highly acclaimed wine producer located in the Priorat region of Catalonia, Spain. This award-winning winery is known for its exceptional quality wines and its commitment to sustainable and organic practices.

The Priorat region, located in the northeastern corner of Spain, is renowned for its rugged landscape and unique terroir. The vineyards of Priorat are situated on steep slopes of slate and quartz soil, resulting in low yields but intensely concentrated grapes. This challenging terrain, combined with the warm Mediterranean climate, creates the perfect conditions for producing bold and complex wines.

Acústic Celler was founded in 2004 by winemaker Albert Jané, who comes from a long line of winemakers in the Priorat region. His passion for winemaking and his deep knowledge of the region's terroir are evident in every bottle of Acústic wine. Jané's philosophy is to let the terroir speak for itself, and he takes a minimal intervention approach in the winemaking process to showcase the unique characteristics of each vintage.

One of the key factors that sets Acústic Celler apart from other wineries in Priorat is their commitment to sustainable and organic practices. The vineyards are cultivated using organic and biodynamic methods, with a focus on preserving the natural biodiversity of the land. These practices not only result in healthier vines and grapes, but also produce wines that truly reflect the terroir.

Acústic Celler produces a range of wines, including reds, whites, and rosés, all made from indigenous grape varieties such as Garnacha and Cariñena. Their flagship wine, the Acústic Red, is a blend of old-vine Garnacha and Cariñena, aged in French oak barrels for 12 months. This wine has received numerous accolades and high ratings from top wine critics, solidifying its place as one of the best wines in Priorat.
