Kasteel Langoa-Barton

Château Langoa Barton is a wine estate located in the Saint-Julien appellation of Bordeaux's Left Bank. The property is classified as a Third Growth (Troisième Grand Cru Classé) in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification and has been owned by the Barton family since 1821, making it one of the few classified growths still in the hands of its founding family.

Saint-Julien is renowned for producing some of Bordeaux's most balanced and elegant red wines, combining the power of Pauillac with the finesse of Margaux. The appellation's gravelly soils and maritime climate create ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon, which typically forms the backbone of Saint-Julien blends. Wines from this commune are known for their structure, longevity, and refined tannins that develop complexity with age.
