Ulysse Collin

Ulysse Collin is a small, family-owned Champagne producer in the Côte des Blancs region of France. Founded in 2004 by Olivier Collin, the estate has quickly gained a reputation for producing some of the finest and most sought-after Champagnes in the world.

Located in the village of Congy, in the southern part of the Champagne region, Ulysse Collin is known for its terroir-driven approach to winemaking. The estate has just under 4 hectares of vineyards, all of which are planted with Chardonnay grapes. These vineyards are spread across several premier cru and grand cru villages, including Avize, Oger, and Cramant.

The unique terroir of the Côte des Blancs region, with its chalky soils and cool climate, is perfectly suited for growing Chardonnay grapes. This allows Ulysse Collin to produce consistently high-quality, expressive and elegant Champagnes that showcase the unique characteristics of the terroir.

One of the most distinctive features of Ulysse Collin Champagnes is their low dosage. Unlike many other producers in the region, Ulysse Collin uses very little or no added sugar in their wines, allowing the natural flavors and aromas of the grapes to shine through. This results in Champagnes that are crisp, dry and refreshing, with a purity and intensity that is rarely found in other sparkling wines.

Ulysse Collin produces a range of different cuvées, each with its own unique character and style. These include the Les Maillons, a blend of Chardonnay grapes from different parcels of land, and the Les Pierrières, a single-vineyard Champagne that is considered one of the finest expressions of the Côte des Blancs terroir.

Despite being a small producer, Ulysse Collin has gained a cult following among Champagne lovers and critics alike. Their wines are highly sought
