Located in the heart of the picturesque Loire Valley, Onshore Cellars is proud to showcase the exquisite wines of Domaine de la Chevalerie. This family-run winery has been producing exceptional wines for over 400 years, making it one of the oldest and most prestigious producers in the region.

The domaine is situated in the charming village of Restigné, in the renowned appellation of Bourgueil. Known for its exceptional terroir, Bourgueil is famous for its production of red wines made from the Cabernet Franc grape. The unique combination of the Loire River's cooling influence and the region's limestone and clay soils create the perfect conditions for producing high-quality, elegant and complex wines.

Domaine de la Chevalerie is currently run by brothers Emmanuel and Thierry Caslot, who continue the family legacy of winemaking with passion and dedication. The domaine spans over 40 hectares, with vines ranging in age from 10 to 80 years old. The Caslot brothers firmly believe in sustainable and organic farming practices, and they work tirelessly to ensure that their wines reflect the natural expression of the terroir.

The domaine's flagship wine is the Bourgueil "Galichets" cuvée, which is a blend of Cabernet Franc from different plots within the estate. This wine is a true reflection of the terroir, with its intense aromas of ripe red fruits, delicate floral notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with silky tannins and a long, lingering finish. This wine has garnered numerous awards and accolades, solidifying Domaine de la Chevalerie's reputation as one of the top producers in Bourgueil.
