From superyachts to private cellars

Onshore Cellars was founded in 2015 by Ed and Jess Dunnett, a former Second Officer and Chief Stewardess who met working on a 70m motor yacht. Our shop has stood in Antibes Old Town since 2017, and our team supplies yachts from 40 to 110 metres through the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons.

Why does that matter to a collector? Because yacht provisioning is wine supply judged by the harshest standard there is: exact bottles, exact vintages, no substitutions, delivered on time in front of the most demanding audience in the world. A collector gets the same discipline, nothing less.

Sourcing rare and allocated wines

We hold more than 1,500 wines, champagnes and spirits in stock, and unlike almost every fine wine supplier in our world, our full list is browsable with public prices. No emailing for a quote, no gatekeeping.

Beyond the list sits our allocation network: Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Pétrus, Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Screaming Eagle, cult California, top Burgundy and first-growth Bordeaux. If a bottle exists on the market, we can usually find it. And if we can't, we tell you within hours, not after a week of silence. Professional storage, €24 a case a year

Heat is the quiet killer of fine wine. Our climate-controlled storage near Antibes holds your wine at constant cellar conditions, fully documented, with insurance cover available up to €100,000, for €24 per case per year (ex VAT). Bottles come out whenever you want them: delivered to your home, your villa, or straight to the table.

Cellar advice without the theatre

Our general manager Peter Bedding holds the WSET Diploma, and our team has curated cellars for yacht owners for a decade. We start with how you actually drink, not with a list of famous labels. A good first cellar balances wines for tonight, wines that reward five years' patience, and a few bottles that will genuinely astonish you at ten. We'll tell you honestly which is which. Starting from zero? Our cellar setup service plans, stocks and manages the whole thing.

We don't sell wine as an investment product. Wine is for drinking; if your cellar appreciates along the way, enjoy the bonus.

Riuscite a reperire vini rari e in allocazione?

Sì. Forniamo regolarmente Pétrus, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, Krug Clos d'Ambonnay, Screaming Eagle e altri vini disponibili solo su allocazione a yacht e clienti privati. Se una bottiglia esiste sul mercato, di solito riusciamo a trovarla, e se non riusciamo, ve lo diciamo subito piuttosto che farvi aspettare.

Offrite servizi professionali di conservazione del vino?

Sì. La nostra cantina climatizzata vicino ad Antibes costa €24 a cassa all'anno (IVA esclusa), con copertura assicurativa disponibile fino a €100.000. I vostri vini sono conservati in condizioni professionali con registri di inventario completi e possono essere consegnati a voi o alla vostra cantina quando lo desiderate.

Consegnate in tutta Europa?

Sì. Consegna in giornata sulla Côte d'Azur (Antibes, Cannes, Nizza, Monaco, Saint-Tropez), il giorno successivo in tutta la Francia, e alcuni giorni per il resto dell'UE. Gestiamo correttamente la logistica sensibile alla temperatura, il vostro vino viaggia come è stato conservato.

Potete aiutarmi a iniziare una collezione di vini da zero?

Assolutamente, è uno dei nostri briefing preferiti. Il nostro direttore generale Peter Bedding possiede il Diploma WSET e il nostro team ha curato cantine per armatori di yacht per un decennio. Iniziamo da come bevete effettivamente, poi costruiamo una prima collezione intorno a vini che premieranno la conservazione, non solo etichette famose.

Sì. Se state riducendo una cantina o risolvendo una successione, acquistiamo collezioni ben conservate. La provenienza e la storia di conservazione determinano il prezzo che possiamo offrire. Consultate la nostra pagina vendi la tua collezione di vini o contattateci con un elenco di ciò che avete.

Come faccio a sapere che la provenienza dei vostri vini è autentica?

Acquistiamo direttamente da produttori e négociants consolidati, e la nostra stessa cantina è climatizzata e documentata. Per bottiglie più vecchie o rare verifichiamo i livelli di riempimento, le etichette, le capsule e la storia di conservazione prima di offrirle. La provenienza è esattamente il motivo per cui gli armatori di yacht si fidano di noi con il vino dei loro ospiti, lo stesso standard si applica alla vostra cantina.
