Laberdolive

Laberdolive is a renowned wine producer that has been crafting exceptional Armagnac in the Bas-Armagnac region of France since 1900. The family-owned estate is now in its fourth generation, with each generation passing down their knowledge and expertise to produce some of the finest Armagnacs in the world.

Located in the heart of Gascony, in the village of Labastide-d'Armagnac, Laberdolive is situated on a terroir that is known for its exceptional quality of grapes. The estate spans over 52 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the vines being planted with the Ugni Blanc grape variety, which is the main grape used in Armagnac production.

One of the key factors that sets Laberdolive apart from other Armagnac producers is their commitment to traditional and artisanal production methods. The estate still uses a wood-fired still, which is a rarity in the Armagnac region. This traditional method of distillation allows for a slow and gentle process, resulting in a more complex and refined Armagnac.

Laberdolive produces a range of Armagnacs, including vintage and blended varieties. Their vintage Armagnacs are aged in oak barrels for a minimum of 15 years, with some being aged for up to 50 years. This extended aging process allows for the development of rich and complex flavors, making Laberdolive Armagnacs highly sought after by connoisseurs around the world.

In addition to their vintage Armagnacs, Laberdolive also produces a range of blended Armagnacs, which are a combination of different vintages. This allows for a consistent and balanced flavor profile, making these Armagnacs perfect for cocktail mixing or as an introduction to the world of Armagnac.

Laberdolive takes great care in every step of the production process, from the careful selection of grapes to the bottling and labeling of their Armagnacs.
