Somewhere in the world, the bottle you want exists. In a producer's library in Vosne-Romanée, a négociant's warehouse in Bordeaux, a broker's list in London, a private cellar in Geneva. Our job is to find it, verify it, and put it on your table. For ten years we have done exactly this for superyacht owners — the most demanding "I want that specific bottle" audience on earth. The same network now works for collectors ashore.
The wines people come to us for follow patterns:
Send us four things: the exact wine, the vintage(s) you'd accept, the format, and your ceiling. Within one working day you get an honest first answer — we have it, we can get it, or we can't. In-network bottles confirm within about 48 hours; true rarities can take weeks, with updates as we go. There is no search fee: you pay for the wine, at the price we quoted, only if we find it.
Rare wine has a provenance problem — heat-damaged and questionable bottles circulate freely. Before we offer anything old or rare we check fill level, capsule and label, and chase the storage history. We reject more bottles than we buy. It is the same discipline that protects a yacht owner's dinner party, and it now protects your cellar. Read more on why provenance matters more than the label.
Sometimes the right answer is "don't buy it". A famous name from a poor vintage, a wine past its window, a price that only makes sense at auction theatre — we will tell you, and propose what to drink instead. We would rather lose a sale than sell you a disappointment; yacht clients have trusted us on exactly those terms for a decade.
Rare bottles deserve a plan around them. We set up and stock private cellars, store your wine in climate-controlled conditions from €24 a case a year, and run the whole cellar for private collectors and family offices. Start with one bottle; stay for the cellar.
Almost. If a wine exists on the market anywhere — producer library, négociant stock, broker network, private cellar — we can usually reach it. What we promise absolutely is a fast, honest answer: within one working day you will know if we can get it, at what price, and how long it will take. No week-long silences.
Four things: the exact wine (producer and cuvée), the vintage or vintages you would accept, the format (750ml, magnum, larger), and your budget ceiling. Add the occasion and deadline if there is one — it changes which routes we try first.
Before we offer any older or rare bottle we check fill level, capsule, label and — wherever possible — documented storage history. We reject more bottles than we buy. The same standard protects a yacht owner's dinner and your cellar equally.
Yes — birthday, wedding and anniversary vintages are one of our most common searches. Older vintages need extra care on condition, and we will tell you honestly which wines from a given year are still drinking beautifully and which are better as a label than a liquid.
First answer within one working day. In-network bottles usually confirm within 48 hours; genuinely rare hunts — a specific old vintage in a specific format — can take a few weeks. You get updates as the search progresses, not silence.
No. You pay for the wine if — and only if — we find it, at the price we quoted you. If we cannot source it on terms worth having, we tell you that too, and we will suggest the closest genuinely available alternative.
