Terre Stregate

Terre Stregate is an Italian wine producer based in Campania, specializing in wines from the Falanghina del Sannio DOC appellation. This designation covers vineyards in the Sannio area of Campania, where the indigenous Falanghina grape variety has been cultivated for centuries.

The Falanghina del Sannio DOC was established to protect and promote wines made from the Falanghina grape grown in this specific zone of Benevento province. The appellation requires wines to contain at least 85% Falanghina, with the remainder from other authorized white varieties. The volcanic soils and continental climate of the Sannio hills create favorable conditions for this ancient grape, producing wines typically characterized by mineral complexity, citrus notes, and good acidity.

Terre Stregate currently focuses on Falanghina varietal wines, including their 'Svelato' bottling from the 2022 vintage. This represents the pure expression of the Falanghina grape within the specific terroir parameters defined by the Falanghina del Sannio DOC regulations.
