Our story
We met on a yacht
We met in 2009 on a motor yacht, Ed as Second Officer and Jess as a stewardess. We spent many years travelling and working together on superyachts. Ed helped his captain with the purchasing for the wine cellar; Jess, who went on to become Chief Stewardess, was involved in buying and serving the wine on board.
In 2015 we swapped paddle boarding in the Bahamas for wine provisioning in Antibes. We started with a simple website, our contacts from working on yachts and a small amount of wine in our apartment.
Why we started
The supplier we wished we had
We have stood in the pantry at midnight trying to find a bottle of something that a guest asked for six hours ago. We have written wine lists under time pressure for guests arriving tomorrow. We have managed a yacht cellar through a 10-week season and watched it run out of the wrong things.
So we set out to build the business that was lacking when we were on board: one that is more customer-centric and focused on service. We built the tools we wish we had had, because we know what the interior team actually needs.
“We both understood the necessity for clarity, efficiency and honesty when ordering for superyachts.”
Jess Dunnett, co-founder, to Superyachts.com, October 2024

Why Antibes
A cellar minutes from the marinas
Our cellar is in Vallauris, just outside Antibes. It is eight minutes from Port Pierre-Canto in Cannes, fifteen from Port Vauban in Antibes and twenty-five from Port Hercule in Monaco. That is what makes same-day delivery possible in the peak charter season, and it puts us close to the négociants we buy from.
Our climate-controlled storage is minutes from Antibes too, so a yacht can leave its wine with us through a yard period and have it back aboard when the itinerary calls for it.
