Tasting notes

This Brunello di Montalcino is immediately captivating, with a lift and verticality that set it clearly apart. Bright cherry fruit, grenadine and grilled watermelon sit beneath an energetic, punchy edge. The aromatics carry an appealing sweetness, along with hints of white peppercorn and pressed violet, and lifted tones that flirt with volatility yet remain controlled. The tannins are remarkably soft and polymerised. The style is distinctly austere and complex, etched with mineral precision and built with multiple layers stacked one atop another, gaining depth rather than breadth.
