Tasting notes
The 2014 The Steading has a pale to medium garnet colour and gives relatively understated dried mulberry, preserved plums and Chinese five spice notes with hints of black pepper, earth and dried herbs. Full-bodied, with plenty of spicy expressiveness to match the dried berry and earthy flavours, it is rich and supple with a long pepper-laced finish.

About this wine
Torbreck - The Steading
Experience the rich and complex flavours of Torbreck's The Steading, a blend of Grenache, Shiraz and Mataro grapes grown in the Barossa Valley, Australia.
The Steading is a tribute to the old vineyards of the Barossa Valley, where the vines have been growing for over a century. The grapes are handpicked and carefully selected to ensure only the best fruit is used in the wine.
The wine has a deep ruby colour and a complex aroma of dark fruits, spices and a hint of oak. On the palate, it is full-bodied with a rich and velvety texture. The flavours of blackberry, plum and cherry are complemented by notes of vanilla, cinnamon and pepper.
The Steading is a versatile wine that pairs well with a variety of dishes, from roasted meats to hearty stews. It is also a great wine to enjoy on its own, savouring the rich flavours and aromas.
Experience the history and tradition of the Barossa Valley with Torbreck's The Steading.
