The nose is very closed at first and opens only slowly in the glass. Little by little a floral character emerges, the elegant, perfumed quality of great Ribera del Duero, which offsets the wine's powerful nature and lends it finesse. The wine is truly outstanding, balancing power with elegance. Although very young, it already drinks well, and like many great wines it should remain drinkable throughout its life.
Dense purple-black, this Ribera del Duero shows blackberry, dark plum and cedar on the nose. The palate is powerful and concentrated, with fine-grained tannins, liquorice and graphite notes. The finish is long, structured and built for ageing.
