The 2018 Pic Saint Loup Coste d'Aleyrac is aged in tank. Liquorice, blackberries, and black cherries mark the nose, while the palate is medium to full-bodied and richly textured, adding hints of black olive and mocha on the lingering finish.
Aleyrac is a beautiful little Romanesque chapel from the 12th century located in the vineyards. Set in a magical environment in beautiful Mediterranean garrigue, Syrah, Grenache and Carignan thrive here. The nose displays black cherry and rose at first, followed by balck olive, liquorice and spice. The palate is full bodied with notes of black olive and candied liquorice with a long, fresh finish and elegant tannins.
