Can Feliu - Chardonnay - Vi De La Terra Mallorca

Can Feliu Chardonnay is a white wine from Mallorca, bottled under the Vino de la Tierra Mallorca IGP designation in Spain's Balearic Islands. It is a Chardonnay made on the island, and it carries a Mediterranean stamp rather than a cool-climate one.

The nose is ripe stone fruit, dried herbs and a faint earthy minerality. On the palate, peach and fig sit alongside a hint of garrigue, held in shape by lively acidity and a gentle saline edge from the coast. The finish is clean and lingering, with a touch of spice. It comes in at 13% alcohol.

CanFeliu is the producer, working with Chardonnay on Mallorca. The IGP covers the whole island, and its warm, sunny, sea-influenced climate brings ripeness and body while the maritime air keeps the wine fresh.

Serve well chilled, not ice-cold, so the herbal and stone-fruit notes come through. It is built for food: charcuterie and cured meats, Manchego, tapas and small plates, mixed cheese and charcuterie boards, or grilled meats.
