Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC "Tralcetto" was born from the experience of the Zaccagnini winery, a wine that contains the essence of the Abruzzo area from which it originates. The selected grapes of the Montepulciano vines give rise to this important red wine, suitable for any occasion. The mild climate, fruit of the union between sea and mountain, gives the products of this land very high potential in terms of quality. After being carefully selected, the grapes are left to ferment on the skins in large steel tanks. Subsequently, the wine spends four months in large oak barrels to be properly prepared for the final refinement in the bottle. Montepulciano D'Abruzzo DOC "Tralcetto" is a robust and well-balanced red wine, suitable for aging up to ten years. This red wine is ideal to accompany the whole meal, especially in the presence of red meats and game.

Abruzzo is a region in southern Italy that is known for producing a variety of wines. The region has a long history of winemaking, dating back to the Roman era. The wines of Abruzzo are known for their bold flavors and rich aromas, which are a result of the region's unique climate and soil.

One of the most famous wine producers in Abruzzo is Masciarelli. This family-owned winery has been producing high-quality wines for over 30 years. The winery is located in the town of San Martino sulla Marrucina, in the heart of the Abruzzo region.

Masciarelli produces a variety of wines, including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo, and Chardonnay. The winery is known for its commitment to sustainable winemaking practices, which include using organic fertilizers and reducing water usage.

Another notable wine producer in Abruzzo is Farnese Vini. This winery was founded in 1994 and has quickly become one of the most respected wineries in the region. Farnese Vini produces a variety of wines, including Montepulciano d'Abruzzo, Sangiovese, and Chardonnay.

The winery is known for its modern winemaking techniques, which include using stainless steel tanks and temperature-controlled fermentation. Farnese Vini also has a strong commitment to sustainability, using solar panels to power its winery and reducing its carbon footprint.

In addition to these larger wineries, Abruzzo is also home to many small, family-owned wineries. These wineries produce a variety of unique and interesting wines, often using traditional winemaking techniques that have been passed down through generations.
