Ypioca Silver Prata is a cachaça from a 170 year old distillery. As the Portuguese label says, it is a 'pure sugar cane essence', like the agricultural rums of the West Indies. It is therefore a spirit of pure sugarcane juice, which in this case has been distilled in columns. Its colour is translucent, yet it has been resting for 12 months in freijó casks, a local wood.
