The 2019 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains opens in the glass with notes of green orchard fruit, hazelnuts, clear honey, fresh bread, and oyster shell. Medium to full-bodied, layered, and muscular, with chalky grip and a saline finish, it has turned out very well.

The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Montmains offers up a minty bouquet of lime zest, anise and white flowers, followed by a medium to full-bodied, glossy palate with good tension and cut. It's a chewy, concentrated Montmains that should develop well in bottle.
