From partly purchased grapes, the 2022 Pinot Noir Haus Klosterberg Rosé offers a clear, pure and fresh, highly aromatic nose of red berries and apples. Juicy, round and charming in its fruit and a little bit too sweet for my personal taste, this is a crowd-pleasing, lush and intense yet also refined rosé with an alluring character. It was bottled in late March of this year with 12% stated alcohol and a screw-cap closure. 25,000 bottles made. Tasted in May 2023.
