Bottled with absolutely moderate 12% alcohol, Fred Loimer's 2017 Langenlois Pinot Noir is a fantastic red with spicy red cherry, berry and just-ripe black berry aromas intertwined with floral and earthy notes. Great purity and character here. Silky textured and fresh on the palate, this is an intense, fresh and structured Kamptal Pinot Noir with a tight and spicy finish. Very natural (low in sulfur?) and just beautiful in its untamed character. Tasted in September 2019.
