Black cherries, raspberries and cassis, just oodles of fruit, dominate the nose of the 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon S.L.V. It's ripe and opulent up front, full-bodied and supple at first, then it adds tannin all along the palate, finishing with a rush of dusty tannins and a bit of astringency. Give it a few years in the cellar, and hold it up to 15 years if you can wait.
Stag's Leap - S.L.V. - Cabernet Sauvignon
Indulge in the rich and complex flavours of Stag's Leap S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon, a wine that has been crafted to perfection by the renowned Stag's Leap Wine Cellars. This wine is a true representation of the Napa Valley terroir and is a must-try for all wine enthusiasts.
The Stag's Leap S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon is a full-bodied wine with a deep ruby colour and a rich aroma of blackcurrant, blackberry, and vanilla. On the palate, it is smooth and velvety with flavours of dark chocolate, espresso, and a hint of spice. The tannins are firm and well-structured, providing a long and satisfying finish.
The Stag's Leap Wine Cellars has a rich history dating back to 1970 when it was founded by Warren Winiarski. The winery is located in the Stags Leap District of Napa Valley, which is known for its unique terroir that produces some of the best Cabernet Sauvignon in the world. The S.L.V. vineyard, in particular, is known for its exceptional quality grapes that are used to make this wine.
This wine is perfect for special occasions and pairs well with grilled meats, hearty stews, and strong cheeses. Enjoy it with friends and family or savour it on your own as you unwind after a long day.
