The 2023 Sauvignon Blanc originates from Gamble Ranch (Oakville) and Bear Flats (Calistoga). Fermented and aged in a mix of older oak (56%) and stainless steel (44%), it's highly aromatic, with passion fruit, gooseberries and nectarines all evident on the nose. In the mouth, it's medium to full-bodied, plump, expansive and generous. There's plenty of flavor, culminating in a long, citrusy finish.
Stag's Leap Wine Cellars has established itself as one of Napa Valley's most respected producers, known for crafting elegant wines that express the unique terroir of California's premier wine region. The Aveta Sauvignon Blanc showcases the winery's commitment to quality and precision winemaking, delivering a refined white wine that captures the essence of Napa Valley viticulture.
This Sauvignon Blanc presents a full-bodied profile with vibrant tropical fruit characteristics and a balanced medium acidity that defines the grape's versatility. At 12.5% ABV, it offers a sophisticated, approachable drinking experience suitable for both casual occasions and fine dining. The dry finish and medium-plus intensity make it an ideal companion to a diverse range of cuisines.
The wine's food-pairing potential is exceptional, complementing shellfish, crab, lobster, and sushi with particular elegance. It pairs beautifully with fresh fish, poultry, and goat cheese, while its aromatic profile enhances citrus-based dishes and grilled vegetables. Whether served at a yacht gathering or villa dinner party, this Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc delivers the quality and refinement expected from Stag's Leap Wine Cellars.
