Inspired by the perfumery, both for the bottle and its manufacture, fashion photographer Mert Alas created Seventy-One Gin. A blended gin from individually distilled botanicals including grapefruit peel, wild ivy, tea leaves, and Damask rose, as well as the rare flower from the Queen of the Night cactus, which blossoms in the North American desert for just one night a year.
It’s then rested for 71 days in three cask types: medium-toasted virgin European oak, Pedro Ximénez sherry, and Cognac casks. After resting, the casks are blended together to make this beautiful gin with a golden hue. A luxurious drink for any occasion.
