Geyserville is one of the many cuvées of the estate recognized for its subtlety, worked using non-interventionist techniques and lands rich in properties that give these wines their high quality. The Geyserville cuvée is one of the finest expressions of the Zinfandel grape variety, a black grape variety representing nearly 10% of the grape varieties in California vineyards. This hearty, full-bodied and lightly tannic blend of Zinfandel and several other traditional varieties offers tasty boysenberry and black plum flavours and lightly smoky, peppery accents on a rich texture. Seeming a bit less concentrated than the last two vintages, it's still ripe, smooth and attractive.
