Perrier-Jouët - Belle Epoque - Rosé

Tasting notes

93+Points - The Wine Advocate

"The 2012 Brut Rosé Belle Epoque is showing very well and must rank as one of the finest recent releases of this Chardonnay-based prestige cuvée from Perrier-Jouët. Offering up a pretty bouquet of white peach, spring flowers, strawberry, freshly baked bread and warm biscuits, it's medium to full-bodied, elegant and seamless, its delicately fleshy core underpinned by lively acids and complemented by a beautifully refined mousse. More about the Producer

  • Perrier-Jouet

Perrier-Jouët owns 65 hectares of vineyards classified as 99.2% on the échelle des crus classification of vineyards, including forty hectares of Chardonnay for the Cramant and Avize grands crus. Chardonnay, a floral, elegant and refined grape variety, is Perrier-Jouët’s signature wine.

Perrier-Jouët only produces wine in small volumes. Successive cellar masters have managed to preserve its historic treasures, including its first vintages, like Perrier-Jouët 1825 – the oldest champagne currently in existence.
