Tasting notes
Pale straw in colour with bright silver highlights, this is a quintessentially fresh and lively expression of Picpoul. The nose opens with zesty citrus, green lemon and lime zest alongside white peach and delicate floral notes of acacia blossom. There's a pleasing saline, almost oyster-shell minerality running through, a nod to the grape's coastal Languedoc origins along the shores of the Étang de Thau. On the palate, the wine is light to medium-bodied with the variety's signature mouthwatering acidity "picpoul" meaning "lip-stinger" in Occitan, and this delivers exactly that. Crisp and refreshing, with flavours of green apple, fresh lemon curd, and a hint of fennel frond. The finish is clean, saline, and bracingly dry, with a lingering citrus bite.

About this wine
Maison Chape's Acord Parfait is a Picpoul de Pinet from the Languedoc-Roussillon coast, made from the Picpoul grape that gives this appellation its name and its reputation as a seafood wine of choice along the Mediterranean shore.
Expect a pale, taut white with citrus and saline lift, built for immediate drinking rather than the cellar. Serve well chilled at 10-12°C with oysters, shellfish platters or grilled white fish on deck - it is the reflex pairing for anything straight from the sea.
