Tasting notes

Chapoutier's entry-level Crozes is the 2020 Crozes Hermitage la Petite Ruche. It's peppery and fresh, marked by raspberry and cherry aromas on the nose. In the mouth, it's medium-bodied and silky but lacking the richness of the preceding vintage. However, it shows fine delineation and purity. Drink it young.

About this wine

M. Chapoutier - Crozes-Hermitage - Petite Ruche

M. Chapoutier's Crozes-Hermitage - Petite Ruche is a red wine that is sure to delight your taste buds. This wine is made from 100% Syrah grapes, which are grown in the northern Rhône Valley of France. The wine has a deep ruby color and a complex aroma of blackberries, blackcurrants, and spices.

On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with a rich and velvety texture. The flavors of black fruit are complemented by notes of vanilla and oak, which come from the wine's aging in oak barrels. The tannins are firm but well-integrated, giving the wine a long and satisfying finish.

M. Chapoutier is a renowned producer of wines and spirits, with a history dating back to 1808. The winery is located in the Rhône Valley, where the unique terroir and climate create ideal conditions for growing grapes. The winery is known for its commitment to biodynamic farming practices, which ensure that the grapes are grown in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

This wine is perfect for pairing with red meat dishes, such as steak or lamb. It also pairs well with strong cheeses, such as Roquefort or Stilton. Enjoy a glass of M. Chapoutier's Crozes-Hermitage - Petite Ruche with friends and family at your next dinner party, or simply savor it on its own as a special treat.
