Loimer's 2015 Langenlois Pinot Noir Dechant displays a dark cherry color and fresh sour cherry, dark berry and floral aromas. Silky and fresh on the palate, this is a juicy, piquant, lovely sour Pinot Noir with ripe, concentrated fruit; fine, grippy tannins; and a fleshy, aromatic finish. It is less generous and round than the Anning from the Thermenregion and probably needs more time to develop all its charm. Low SO2? Tasted in September 2017.
