Aged in new barrels for 24 months, Trockenbeeren auslese No. 5 2020 offers a clear, deep, intense and pure yet complex bouquet of blood oranges, roses, herbs, game, coffee, toast, nougat, and aromas of sage and chamomile, mixed with notes of herbal tea, candied and buttered bitter oranges. Round, soft and opulent on the palate, it is a noble TBA, very elegant, dense, refined, finely tannic and saline, persistent with citrus bitters on the long, structured but still very young, and so promising finish.
