Aromas of black peppercorns, cherries, tar, and roses with a hint of all spice. The palate is earthy and luscious with flavours of cherry compote complemented by secondary mocha notes. A perfumed and versatile medium bodied Syrah that will continue to develop in the cellar for up to five years.
Cherry and plum notes lead the way in the 2016 Syrah. A medium-bodied wine with silky tannins and a lingering touch of peppery spice on the finish, it comes across as quaffable but slightly simple and fruity
