About this whisky

Glenlivet is a renowned Scottish distillery that has been producing some of the finest single malt whiskies for over two centuries. The Glenlivet 18-year-old is a premium expression that is highly sought after by whisky enthusiasts around the world.

The history of Glenlivet dates back to 1824 when George Smith, the founder of the distillery, obtained a license to produce whisky legally. At the time, illicit distilling was rampant in Scotland, and George Smith's decision to go legit was a bold move that paid off in the long run.

The Glenlivet 18-year-old is a testament to the distillery's commitment to quality and tradition. It is made using the finest ingredients, including locally sourced barley and water from the nearby Josie's Well. The whisky is aged for 18 years in oak casks, which gives it a rich and complex flavour profile.
