Tasting notes
Santa Rita Floresta 2021 Chardonnay is produced from grapes sourced from Punitaque, Limarí. The wine was aged for 12 months in French oak barrels giving it a lovely rounded mouthfeel. Look for bright green apple, ginger and cedar brush spice flavours creamy on the palate with a long chalky textured finish. Drink or hold to 2030.

Key characteristics
About this wine
Santa Rita's Floresta Chardonnay showcases the distinctive character of Chile's Maipo Valley, a region renowned for producing elegant white wines with remarkable freshness and complexity. This Chardonnay captures the essence of the valley's cool-climate influence, delivering a wine that balances bright acidity with subtle creamy textures, complemented by mineral undertones characteristic of the region's terroir.
The winemaking approach emphasizes the grape's natural expression, allowing the Chardonnay's vibrant green fruit and spicy notes to shine while maintaining the crisp, chalky minerality that defines Santa Rita's philosophy. At 13.5% ABV, this is a sophisticated, food-friendly white that pairs beautifully with fresh seafood, grilled white fish, poultry dishes, and creamy pasta preparations, ideal for elegant entertaining aboard yachts or in fine dining settings.
