From the 2020 vintage Domaine Buisson-Charles will produce around 300 bottles of this mythical grand cru. After La Chapelle, it is the estate's second foray into the Côte de Nuits, even if it remains in more than modest quantities. When the wine is perfectly vinified, it releases from its youthful aromas of liquorice stick which clearly distinguishes it and which sometimes makes certain tasters think that it could lack complexity compared to its neighbour Clos de Bèze, which would be more immediately elegant. and aromatic. Let's take this with caution and circumspection because Chambertin only asserts its obvious superiority over the long term.
