About this sparkling wine

Delamotte - Brut

Delamotte Brut is a Champagne from Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, made from Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. It is a Brut at 12% alcohol, with Chardonnay setting the tone: graceful and finely focused.

The nose opens with white flowers, citrus zest, green apple and pear, with a delicate note of brioche and almond underneath. The palate is crisp and elegant, carried by a fine, persistent mousse and a chalky minerality. Fresh lemon and orchard fruit lead to a clean, lively and refined finish.

Chardonnay leads the blend, with Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier adding body and fruit. The cool, chalky terroir of the appellation gives the acidity and mineral edge that run through the wine.

Serve well chilled, as an aperitif or at the table. Its freshness suits shellfish, sushi and sashimi, and oily fish, while the brioche and almond undertone holds up to chicken and hard cheeses.
