Tasting notes

2019 Lions de Suduiraut shows a bright golden hue. The nose offers honey, dried apricot, fig, and gentle spice, with hints of hazelnut and cinnamon. The palate is rich yet balanced by lively acidity, revealing stone fruit, warm ginger, and subtle nutty citrus notes. The finish is long and elegant, charming now with good ageing potential.

About this wine

The pale lemon colored 2016 Lions de Suduiraut gives up quite earthy scents of fungi, moss and fallen leaves over a core of peach preserves, dried apricots, poached pears and orange marmalade. The palate is beautifully layered with stone fruit and citrus notions, framed with just enough freshness, finishing long and earthy.
