Tasting notes

This 2016 vintage of Château Grand Corbin Manuel presents a beautiful dark color with purple reflections. The nose is lively and releases warm aromas of fruit, spices and toast. We find the fruit and sweet spices on a generous, powerful palate, with beautiful expressive tannins on the finish. A style of great aging ready to drink!

About this wine

Château Grand Corbin Manuel is a distinguished Saint-Émilion estate producing elegant red wines from the heart of Bordeaux's most celebrated appellation. The château's vineyard benefits from the region's unique terroir, where clay-limestone soils and a continental climate create ideal conditions for developing complex, full-bodied wines with character and depth.

This red wine blends Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon, a classic Saint-Émilion composition that showcases the versatility of the region's finest grape varieties. The wine is known for its firm tannins, warming nature, and black fruit profile, delivering the structure and aging potential that define premium Bordeaux. At 14.5% ABV, it offers generous body and concentration without excess alcohol.

Château Grand Corbin Manuel pairs beautifully with lamb, beef, venison, and game birds, making it an excellent choice for fine dining tables and sophisticated entertaining. The wine's dry profile and structured tannins complement rich, savory dishes and earthy flavors like mushrooms and duck, positioning it as a versatile selection for discerning collectors and those seeking authentic Saint-Émilion quality.
