Enquire about availabilityThe 2017 Pic Saint Loup Grande Cuvee spent 18 months in oak, leaving it with a sheen of cedar and vanilla layered over dark plum and blackberry fruit. Full-bodied and concentrated, it's also supple and ripe, with notes of chocolate and liquorice on the long finish, yet those elements are balanced by hints of crushed stone that provide a bit of freshness.
Château de Lancyre is a winery located in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Founded in the late 19th century, the estate is now owned by the Brunier family, who have been producing wines since the early 20th century. The estate is best known for its Grande Cuvée Rouge, a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Cinsault grapes. This full-bodied red wine has aromas of ripe red fruits, spices, and herbs, with a hint of oak. On the palate, it is smooth and well-balanced, with a long finish.
The Pic Saint-Loup is another popular wine from Château de Lancyre. This blend of Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvèdre grapes is aged in oak barrels for 12 months, giving it a deep ruby color and aromas of blackberry, raspberry, and spice. On the palate, it is full-bodied and well-structured, with a long finish. Both of these wines are excellent examples of the quality and craftsmanship of Château de Lancyre.
If you're looking for a special bottle of wine to enjoy, Château de Lancyre is a great choice. Their wines are full of flavor and complexity, and they are sure to please any wine lover. So, why not give them a try?
