Tasting notes
The 2014 Clinet showed some variation when first tasted from barrel, prompting several retastings during the primeur campaign. Now in bottle, the bouquet has gained fruit concentration, with notes of red plum, wild strawberry, and blueberry. The palate is medium-bodied and refined, showing less opulence than some other vintages from the estate, with a finish that is slightly firm and less persistent. Overall, it is a well-made Clinet, though more restrained in style compared to the 2010 or 2015.

The estate also produces a second wine, Ronan by Clinet, which is a blend of Merlot and Cabernet Franc. This wine is aged in oak barrels for 12-14 months and is known for its approachable style, with soft tannins and a fruity character.
